He completed his undergraduate, master and doctorate programs at Ankara University, DTCF Theater Department. He carries out artistic and academic studies in the fields of choreography, acting and theater directing. His books titled “Meddah and His Performans” and “Storytelling as a Creative Drama and Acting Activity” have been published. He has presented many oral and published papers at national and international scientific meetings in Turkey and other countries. Among the stage shows he staged in Turkey are “Why!…”, “Did You Think Killing was a Macbeth Game” and “Love Pain in the Stomach” and were staged in many international events in Turkey and other countries. Some of his staging works have received national awards. He was honored with the “Theater Labor Award” at the 27th International Bartın International Theater Festival. He served as a board member of the International University Theater Association (IUTA), of which he is still a member, for eight years. He is the founder and artistic director of “Meddah Atölyesi” (2015), which is the platform for all initiatives aiming to conduct practice and research on Meddah theater and Meddah acting aesthetics and contemporary approaches in this sense. He is a member of Assitej (International Children’s and Youth Theater Association). He is one of the founders of Anadolu University Children’s University.
