Erdem Erem – CV (En)

Erdem Erem received his bachelor’s degree from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Education, in 2002. In 2004, he won the Turkish National Drama Achievement Award. He completed the “Creative Drama in Education” master’s program at Ankara University’s Institute of Educational Sciences in 2005. His second master’s degree was focused on “Museum Education” at Pamukkale University. In addition to these studies, he also earned an associate degree in “Brand Communication” from Anadolu University. Since 2005, he has been working at Ege University, Faculty of Education.

In 2007, he founded the Izmir branch of the Contemporary Drama Association and served as its president and vice president for many years.

Since 1999, he has acted in numerous improvisational theater performances, and since 2005, he has also worked as an actor and director. He has directed over 25 plays and performed on stage countless times. He has particularly specialized in free long-form improvisation, forum theater, and theater sports. In 2012, he was the creative director of Turkey’s first improvisational theater festival. He continues to perform short and long-form improvisational shows.

He has provided training in creative drama, communication, body language, museum education, informal learning, education through art, creativity, and teaching through play at various universities, public and private schools, and companies.

He has also served as a speaker, coordinator, actor, director, jury member, creator, and consultant in numerous national and international projects, festivals, seminars, and conferences with scientific and artistic content. Additionally, he has contributed to various national and international books, articles, papers, and scientific projects.
